Job Details Job Location: CRO - San Antonio, TX 78205 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel JOB SUMMARY The Revenue Manager plays a critical role in optimizing hotel performance by analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and implementing pricing strategies. This role directly supports profitability, occupancy, and guest satisfaction while collaborating with multiple departments to drive revenue growth across Valencia Hotel Collection properties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS Operational Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue. Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and demand trends to adjust rate strategies accordingly. Manage daily and long-term forecasting for occupancy, revenue, and overall hotel performance. Ensure all distribution channels (Expedia, Booking, etc.) comply with brand and revenue management standards. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align strategies and enhance booking conversions. Managerial Responsibilities Lead and participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings with hotel teams. Provide data-driven insights to General Managers and leadership to guide revenue decisions. Maintain and enhance revenue management systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates. Guest Services Support the guest experience by ensuring availability and pricing strategies align with guest demand. Address revenue-related guest concerns or rate inquiries when necessary. Respond quickly to internal and external requests, ensuring seamless communication across departments. Team Support and Training Train and mentor team members on revenue management principles and strategies. Participate in industry trends and technology training as needed. Support employee development through ongoing training in revenue optimization. Communication and Reporting Develop weekly, 30/60/90 day and annual forecasts, budgets, ensuring accuracy. Provide detailed performance reports to leadership, including revenue trends, pick-up reports, and market analysis. Work closely with Marketing and Group Sales to align promotions and special offers with revenue strategies. Safety & Compliance Ensure data accuracy and compliance in all revenue management systems. Adhere and ensure compliance with Valencia Hotel Collection’s brand standards, federal and local laws and company policies. Report unsafe conditions immediately. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, and Excel Detail-oriented with a strategic and proactive approach Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-property teams Experience in multi-property hotel revenue management is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities Physical Requirements Sitting: Frequent (analyzing data, reports, and system management) Standing/Walking: Occasional (meetings, team collaboration) Lifting/Carrying: Light (office supplies, computer, reports) Other Physical Requirements: Ability to handle a face paced, high volume work environment Working Environment Interior: Office setting, traveling to hotels occasionally for hotel site visits Exterior: Limited, unless required for property meetings BASICS Primarily day shifts, with flexibility for strategy meetings and reporting deadlines. Availability for urgent related matters outside of scheduled hours as needed. Job is located in downtown San Antonio. Maintain a clean and organized workspace Display courteous behavior with guests and team members Ensure equipment is in proper working condition Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Requires a minimum high school diploma as well as 1 – 3 years revenue management experience, preferably in multi property hotel operations. Experience working collaboratively with the sales, marketing and operations teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing market conditions quickly.
