Your tasks

  • Responsible for a cluster of 3 hotels and resorts in the portfolio of Van der Valk Deutschland GmbH
  • Optimization, maximization and positioning of market shares, sales, capacity utilization and RevPAR
  • Initiation of short-, medium- and long-term market-oriented yield and marketing measures
  • Responsible for the correct use of IDeaS (Revenue Management System)
  • Continuous monitoring of the market and competitors as well as market trends and integration of these into daily work.
  • Preparation of the forecast and budget for the logistics area in collaboration with the Director of Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing
  • Co-responsible for the expansion and optimization of the systems for optimal use
  • Data analysis and creation of reports, charts and tables for management.
  • Development of strategies to maximize room revenue and market share
  • Development of the company's sales and pricing strategy
  • Management of daily room rates and availability across all distribution channels as well as PMS & CRS systems.
  • Continuous monitoring of rate performance and segment development
  • Support with group quotation and calculation of new offers, as well as their creation for online portals.
  • Monitoring of hotel content inputs into PMS, CRS and other distribution channels
  • Responsibility for creating the weekly and monthly forecasts
  • Monitoring market developments and regularly conducting competitor analyses in close cooperation with the sales and events department.

This is what you bring with you

  • Completed vocational training in the hotel industry or comparable studies
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in revenue management
  • Strong in analytical thinking and in dealing with numbers
  • Reliable, precise and structured work methods
  • Ambition to achieve results-oriented goals for the resort/hotel
  • Excellent computer skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong teamwork skills, commitment and flexibility
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
