Revenue Manager | Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
A Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the hotel’s revenue potential by implementing effective pricing strategies, managing distribution channels, and analyzing market trends. This role is vital to optimizing the hotel’s financial performance while ensuring a balance between room availability and guest demand.
The Revenue Manager role is integral to hotel’s financial success, ensuring maximum revenue without compromising on the guest experience. This position requires both strategic thinking and a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market.
Specifically, as Revenue Manager, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies and processes to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze room inventory and availability to maximize occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
- Create detailed forecasts and budgets for occupancy, ADR, and revenue.
- Regularly adjust forecasts based on market demand, trends, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Provide monthly and quarterly revenue performance reports.
- Set competitive pricing for rooms and packages based on demand patterns, competitor analysis, and historical data.
- Analyze market conditions, competitor pricing, and guest behavior to make informed pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to promote rooms and enhance revenue during low-occupancy periods.
- Manage distribution channels such as the hotel’s website, OTAs, and GDS platforms to maximize reach and revenue.
- Maintain rate parity across all online channels and ensure consistency of content and pricing.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of industry trends and regional market dynamics.
- Use insights to adjust pricing, distribution, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies with overall business goals.
- Provide revenue management insights to support event planning, group bookings, and sales activities.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), occupancy rates, and ADR.
- Provide actionable insights from data analytics to improve revenue strategies and enhance guest experience.
- Ensure that revenue strategies align with delivering a high-quality guest experience and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests to enhance loyalty and repeat business, supporting brand value and reputation.

A Revenue Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Revenue Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting, with a focus on revenue management.
- Knowledge of local market
- Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, IDeaS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
