JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Revenue Supervisor to join our Sales, Catering & Revenue team at the Westin Washington DC, City Center. QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Previous experience at Marriott Hotels is highly preferred.
· Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of revenue management principles.
· Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS). (CI/TY, Lightspeed, MARSHA, STR are a plus).
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and to understand processes including creation and accountability via audits of systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

· Assist in analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to ensure accurate pricing, availability, and overall revenue management.
· Coordinate with Front Desk, Sales, and Reservations teams to implement effective revenue strategies.
· Track daily groups information and update it as needed.
· Update, process, generate, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue management reports from various revenue management systems.
· Create and analyze competitive hotel information to assist in proper decision making. Ensure updated information exists in all channels i.e. Reservation systems, internet, GDS etc.
· Assist with the forecasting process, providing recommendations to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
· Coordinate with Sales and Reservation teams that resumes are fully detailed and ensure that the information is accurate.
· Maintains demand-generating calendar – holidays, special events, citywide etc.
· Support and collaborate on pricing strategies, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
· Participate in weekly Revenue Strategy meetings, pickup meetings etc.
· Assist in the preparation of revenue meetings and provide insights on revenue performance.
· Prepare revenue management report information for all related meetings.
· Prepare a 14-day forecast for distribution to the management team so proper staffing levels are achieved.
· Maintain group pick-up reports and communicate with the Sales team regarding upcoming groups cut-off.
· Monitor daily Flash Reports and make recommendations and provide support to the staff as necessary.
· Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required.
