We’re looking for a motivated and approachable individual to join our Income team as a Revenues Officer. This role is part of Blackpool and Fylde Councils’ Shared Revenues and Benefits Service, where your main focus will be the administration and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates.
You’ll be administering taxpayer accounts and helping customers understand their bills, communicating with them by phone, email, and in person. Many of the people you’ll speak to are facing financial challenges, so being calm, respectful, and professional is key.
We’re looking for someone who’s confident with IT, has a good eye for detail, and can manage their time well but most importantly, we want someone who’s eager to learn and ready to make a difference.
This is a great opportunity to build a career in local government, gain valuable experience, and be part of a supportive team that’s committed to helping the community.
