REVENUES OFFICER

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Revenues Officer to join our billing and collection team.
The main duties are the administration of council tax or business rates accounts, dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face.
You will be responsible for administration of council tax/business rates, granting discounts/relief and exemptions and dealing with recovery of unpaid council tax or business rates.

The ideal candidate will

• Be an experienced revenues officer
• Have experience working with the Civica Open Revenues operating system, although training can be given as is necessary.
• Have a good knowledge of collection and recovery legislation in either council tax or business rates administration.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to prioritise work to meet targets
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
