Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Reverb and Rotary Crew Supervisor is a working position that maintains production operations and requirements during work shift. REPORTS TO: Production Manager SUPERVISES: Operators and Furnace Operators ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff Ensure that safety standards are met to keep the organization accident free Troubleshoot production issues End of shift reporting to ensure maximum output and quality is being met Communicate regularly with production manager Evaluate machines and equipment to ensure continued production with minimal downtime Work alongside operators to maintain production Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Previous foundry experience preferred Forklift license required – on the job training and licensure will be provided Previous leadership experience preferred but not required COMPETENCIES: Self-starter that takes initiative Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines Team player attitude Eagerness to learn and grow with the company Ability to adhere to company attendance policy PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities. The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Some protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Also subject to dust, dirt, and extreme noise. CORE VALUES:?
