An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Review & Assessment Officer to join our specialist team. Described as an excellent service, we are a friendly, well- supported team with great levels of morale.

Our contribution to the Council’s aim of supporting independent living in the community is well recognised. We serve a diverse community in the heart of Pennine Lancashire, providing specialist equipment and adaptations, as part of the Independent Living Service - which also includes Moving and Handling, Major Adaptation Surveyors, Disabled Facilities Grant Business Support, Housing Support, Telecare and Sensory Impairment services.
If successful, your role will involve a range of key tasks that include:
Community Care Act Specialist assessments and intervention planning.
Joint working with social care, health, housing and third sector colleagues.
Re-housing advice and support.
We are looking to appoint a Review & Assessment Officer who wishes to develop in a specialist Occupational Therapy team. This role offers the potential to gain competencies in major adaptations, the provision of equipment and minor adaptations, support with rehousing and the opportunity to participate in service development. The team supports the Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship training pathway for those individuals wishing to pursue a professional career.
This role offers the view to learn and develop in a specialist field within a role that is rewarding and dynamic.
