We are urgently looking to fill a Revit BIM Modeler position in Sterling VA, This is a good position with growth opportunity and good starting pay. This is a contract to perm position but may be an instant hire for any individual that shows they are interested with some experience. We are looking for a Revit Building Information Models (BIM -Modeler) with 2+ years minimum experience Monday to Friday Must Pass Drug Test and Background Check Required
1st shift – Pay Rate: $37 per hour DOE and able to start immediately and upon conversion to perm pay increases along with benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree or higher preferred in Computerized Drafting field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
• Proficient working knowledge of the most current modeling applications software in use by REI
• Fluency in Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Design Review
• Strong BIM experience
• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred

• Provide modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards
• Develop Revit Families either for revised standards or specific project needs
• Efficiently model and document the project
• Perform layout and input marked-up drawings into Revit according to Standards
• Lead modeling efforts on projects working with support modelers to complete deliverables
• Setup of Revit views for use by the Project team
• Electronic document filing and all other facets of electronic drawings or model
• Document and archive work pursuant to the REI Standard.
