Role description: You will join the Water Team in Arcadis Iasi office, where a dynamic team provides a vast array of services in designing different types of constructions (quay walls, jetties, mooring and breasting dolphins, sheet piles). The extended experience offers us the possibility to approach different types of jobs starting from concept, continuing with the execution plans to the bill of quantities and list of reinforcement, calculations. We are involved in a wide range of project types through all stages of development focus on Netherlands but not limited to. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like BIM360DOCS, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients. Our projects and development opportunities can fit ambitions for 3D modeling and parametric design. Role accountabilities: * Create 3D BIM models using REVIT to a high level of accuracy. * Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities. * Clearly annotate, dimension and detail production drawings in conformance to Arcadis standards and practices. * Setup and manage large sheets sets including revisions and markups for each project. Plot drawings to pdf, dwg, or to paper plots. * Set up and geo-locate multiple models for a single project. * Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use. * Use advanced tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment. * Interface with engineers, our partners, and other consultants through clear communication and drawings. Interact with our partners to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery. * Continued development of “best practices” for BIM. Qualifications & Experience: * At least Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering (CCIA, Faculty of Hydrotechnical Engineering); * Experience and understanding of REVIT, AutoCAD, and their supporting technologies. * Good understanding of marine infrastructure (quay walls, jetties, mooring and breasting dolphins, sheet piles) related components for modeling structural components intelligently and efficiently to ensure the integrity of the structural model. * Working knowledge of drawing production, standard construction techniques and principles. * Nice to have 3D parametric modeling to maximize the benefits of an integrated building model. * Able to easily conceptualize three dimensional shapes and their representation * Good English language skills; * Great interpersonal skills (teamwork, supportive attitude, eager to learn, proactivity); * Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines; Why Arcadis?
