You’re a technically minded, detail-driven designer who thrives in Revit and loves applying your skills to complex, creative environments. You enjoy working across disciplines, whether it’s theatrical lighting, stage rigging, or architectural planning—and you’re energized by the idea of contributing to the design of world-class live performance and gathering spaces.
At Fisher Dachs Associates, you support a team of designers by preparing Revit-based drawing sets, creating families, and maintaining clean, coordinated models. You’re comfortable juggling deadlines and collaborating with project managers and technical leads. When a Revit question comes up, you’re the person your colleagues go to—because you understand both the software and how to apply it efficiently and consistently.
You have a strong knowledge of architectural and construction graphic standards and are eager to use this knowledge to create well-documented, professional drawing sets. You take pride in producing clean, well-organized BIM models and are enthusiastic about organizing a set of custom BIM standards perfectly suited to the requirements of an interdisciplinary consulting firm. You can perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Revit project models. You’re fluent in AutoCAD, too, and know how to import backgrounds, manipulate blocks, and build out design sheets. You know how to take a rough sketch, a concept, or a few notes—and turn it into a model that moves a project forward.
You work on-site in our NYC office and value the close, in-person collaboration that our projects require. You’re comfortable in architectural conversations, with a working knowledge of how buildings go together and how to interpret construction drawings.
