ABOUT THE TEAM

People are a key part of the Group’s strategy and the Human Resources (HR) support unit partners with our business units in building a vibrant, customer-focused and high integrity culture. HR are the custodians of the employee lifecycle - from acquiring talent, through to leadership development and training, internal mobility, advising on employee relations, and delivering remuneration and benefits programs.

Key enablers include:

  • Develop best in the world leaders to drive our culture
  • Establish workforce capabilities to underpin our future success
  • Build a strong foundation for flexibility
  • Create a great experience for our people

The Reward team (or chapter) encompasses Reward Consulting, Reward Governance and Global Mobility and Executive Reward. It aims to assist the business in maximising its return on its greatest investment: our people. We operate in an agile environment which provides opportunities to work across prioritised projects requiring reward expertise within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Reward Consultant to support the team with the operation of our reward processes and the development and execution of our reward strategies and frameworks. Under our agile structure, you may work across different Performance and Reward teams, including both broad-based remuneration and executive remuneration. As part of this role, you will have opportunities to explore and apply AI tools in day-to-day work, to enhance how we support the business.
This work is a critical contribution to the development of employee reward solutions which support the Group to reward our workforce effectively, appropriately and in a manner that is aligned with our strategic objectives, maintaining long term competitiveness.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide timely and accurate advice, insights and recommendations to HR and business stakeholders on performance and remuneration matters
  • Assist in the design and implementation of performance, reward, and recognition frameworks and strategies
  • Support the delivery of cyclical reward processes, including the Annual Remuneration Review, and business-as-usual activities such as conducting market benchmarking and salary survey activities
  • Prepare and maintain data models to support reward analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify processes and improve service delivery
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and commercial understanding of performance and reward, identifying emerging trends impacting the Group’s reward strategies and frameworks

This is an entry-level Reward role, ideal for someone looking to build a career in Reward, with opportunities to develop deep technical expertise and broad consulting capabilities.
