Provides direction, expertise and support to business units on a total rewards functions. Team & Opportunity As the Reward Consultant, you will work closely with the Head of Total Reward to embed the local total reward framework which complements the global total rewards strategy, supports attraction and retention, whilst developing and delivering total reward initiatives that are fit-for-purpose for the local Australian market. Core Responsibilities Support compensation and benefits activities, including benchmarking, annual bonus/merit cycles, offer development, and industry trend analysis. Partner with internal stakeholders, including payroll, HR technology, legal, risk, and finance to deliver cyclical and ad-hoc total reward projects. Manage and enhance relationships with external reward, benefits, and mobility providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery. Drive communication and engagement initiatives that increase understanding and utilisation of total reward offerings. Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate international mobility processes for employees moving to or from Australia End‑to‑end management of external providers that support Vanguard Australia’s compensation, benefits, and mobility programs, including high-quality service delivery, optimising value for money, maintaining strong professional partnerships and a continuous improvement focus. Apply strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication capabilities to deliver projects, create clear insights, and support continuous improvement. Skills and Experience Strong experience delivering end-to-end compensation cycles and managing benefits programs, with a sound understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements—ideally within financial services and/or global matrixed environments. Advanced analytical and modelling capability, with the ability to translate complex data and concepts into clear, engaging insights for diverse audiences. Proven ability to simplify processes through the use of new technologies.
