To undertake a range of assembly activities ensuring the assembly of product in a timely, efficient, cost-effective and accurate manner.

  • Operate various types of solder/rework equipment
  • Rework and repair PCBs by hand or with production aids, inclusive of track and pad repairs and modification in all areas of PCB assembly
  • Rework/modify SMT and PTH assemblies as per requirements
  • Inspect completed assemblies as detailed in the relevant process specifications to IPC/Customer specification
  • Work in a clean and efficient manner with a right first time attitude.
  • Follow company procedures at all times to ensure product and process integrity is maintained at all times
  • Assist Engineering and Quality departments with technical queries and investigations as they arise
  • Support the creation of documentation as required
  • Assist with continuous improvement activities as required

Job requirements/skills

  • IPC-610 trained or can demonstrate working knowledge of industry standards of quality
  • Attention to detail with a clear and logical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent accuracy and numeracy skills with an ability to read engineering drawings
  • Computer literate
