We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Engineer to perform 4G/LTE drive tests and optimize network performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing field measurement activities, analyzing network KPIs, troubleshooting coverage/quality issues, and providing recommendations to improve the mobile network experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in RF engineering, specifically with 4G/5G drive testing . Fresh Graduate can apply.
  • Hands-on experience with drive test tools (e.g., TEMS Investigation, Nemo Outdoor). Good to have but not a must.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and produce actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel and perform extensive fieldwork and learn new skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct 4G/5G drive tests using industry-standard tools and equipment (e.g., TEMS, Nemo).
  • Collect, log, and validate RF performance data including coverage, signal quality, throughput, and call drop statistics.
  • Analyze drive test logs and generate detailed reports highlighting key findings, issues, and recommendations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot RF issues such as coverage gaps, interference, call setup failures, and poor handovers.
  • Work with optimization teams to fine-tune network parameters for improved performance.
  • Benchmark operator networks against competitors to assess quality of service (QoS).
  • Ensure compliance with test plans, schedules, and customer requirements.
  • Support acceptance testing (ATP) and new site verification as required.
