Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of directly applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
Citizenship: United States citizenship required
Security Clearance: An existing security clearance is a plus, but not required. All new hires will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidate must be willing to obtain a TS/SCI clearance or already have one. US citizenship is required for clearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking an exceptional RF Engineer specializing in designing, developing, analyzing, testing, and deploying innovative new radio frequency (RF) systems, payloads, subsystems, wireless networks, and component technologies for use in aircraft systems, spacecraft and satellites, missile systems, maritime crafts, and land-based defense and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Experience with RF environments and wireless communications in electronic warfare and contested domains
  • Experience in digital communications protocols and signal conversion techniques
  • Missile defense, air and missile defense, space systems, or communication systems experience
  • Experience with design, prototyping, demonstration, scenario development, experimentation and evaluation, integration, test of ISR and/or cyber technologies
  • Experience with real-time signal processing for Command and Control (C2)
  • Experience with waveform captures and processing of known and unknown wireless communication systems
  • Experience with co-channel, narrow and wideband interference, or multipath fading
  • Experience with modeling and simulation, specifically of the RF environment, channel modeling, noise, interference, spoofing and other countermeasures
  • Hands-on experience with tools like GNU Radio, Linux OS, Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar
  • Experience with IEEE and/or Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference models and associated Protocol Data Units (PDUs)
  • Hands-on experience with passive RF and cyber operations integration
  • Experience applying ML algorithms for signal classification, anomaly detection, and alert prioritization
  • Understanding of RF/cyber behaviors, indicators of behavior (IOBs), and alert ontology frameworks
  • Understanding of spectral management, narrowband/wideband analysis, and PSD/waterfall visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Unified Data Library (UDL) data ingestion and alert dissemination processes

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, a quick learner, and must be able to adapt quickly to evolving technology and priority changes. The candidate will also possess these basic qualifications:

  • Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C, C++, Java, or similar
  • Proficiency in software-defined radio (SDR) tools like GNU Radio
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities
  • Willingness to grow knowledge of electronic warfare and cyber operation

Responsibilities
  • Perform system-level RF analysis, including link budgets, propagation effects, and signal characterization
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced RF systems including antennas, payloads, waveforms, and real-time processing pipelines
  • Evaluate lethality and effectiveness of RF systems against air and missile threats through experimentation, simulation, and analysis
  • Propose, analyze, and test novel RF concepts including at the system level, novel waveforms, new hardware and antenna designs
  • Understand kill chain integration of RF systems, working with systems engineers, combat system experts, and sensor experts to evaluate or perform activities such as end-to-end mission modeling, technical concept design, requirements definition, development phases, technical reviews, budget and schedule development
  • Perform analog, RF circuit, amplifier, and/or antenna design, simulation, development and test as needed. Duties may include board layout, circuit-level analysis, schematic development, and test design
  • Support development of signal behavior ontologies, decision support frameworks, and spectral visualization tools
