Are you an experienced RF Hardware Design Engineer? Would you like to use your skills to help build the next generation Wi-Fi chips that will enable a new generation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices? As our RF Hardware Design Engineer with Morse Micro you will be based at Morse Micro in Taipei, working with the team to develop new application reference designs. You will be experienced in electronics hardware development for RF devices and be able to create and commission new applications designs to meet customer needs. Main responsibilities will include: Development of new application reference designs Electronics hardware development and debug with emphasis on RF design Test and validation of new and existing designs Investigating performance improvements Bringing up new hardware designs and ensuring they meet spec and regulatory standards Assisting other team members for system integration Essential Skills & Requirements: BSc in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering 5+ years relevant industry experience as an electronics engineer or RF engineer Highly proficient with Altium Designer both schematic and PCB layout Experienced in full product development life cycle from requirement definition through to design, implementation, test, and validation Experience with wireless systems design & validation Wireless systems bench testing with equipment such as vector signal generators, vector signal analysers and vector network analysers Electronics validation and debugging Experience with regulatory certification of electronics devices Ability to work in Linux Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Strong technical documentation skills Who we are: Morse Micro is Australia’s largest semiconductor company building Wi-Fi HaLow (802.11ah) chips for the Internet of Things (IoT).
