Description
Responsibilities
  • Capture schematics and lay out multi-layer PCBs in Altium Designer for X‑Band phased-array modules
  • Design, simulate, and optimize RF front-end circuits (LNAs, mixers, filters) for low-noise, high-linearity performance
  • Perform circuit simulations using LTspice, ADS, or equivalent tool
  • Liaise with PCB manufacturers and EMS partners on stack-ups, DRC constraints, and DFM considerations
  • Partner with Antenna, Systems, Mechanical, and Software engineers to define and execute prototype test plans
  • Test and characterize prototypes using VNAs, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
  • Analyze S‑parameters, noise figure, intermodulation, and system-level metrics
  • Maintain version control (Git) of hardware files and document design choices in Confluence
  • Participate in schematic, layout, and prototype design reviews
  • Ensure designs meet relevant regulatory standards (EMI/EMC, safety, security)
  • Drive DFM/DFT best practices and cost optimization for scale-u
