Description
Infrastructure Deployment: Deploy containerized infrastructure using Podman Execution Environments. Patch and Configuration Management: Manage large-scale patching, configuration management, and compliance across hybrid RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 systems. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define host group structures, automation job templates, and compliance baselines. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve host registration, subscription, and repository synchronization issues across development, staging/test, and production environments. Support: Provide technical support for Red Hat infrastructure components and ensure timely resolution of enterprise-level issues. Architecture Expertise: Maintain an expert-level understanding of enterprise, program, and tool-level architecture. Roadmap Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the roadmap plan for RHEL capabilities and provide input on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development. Advocacy and Task Management: Evangelize developed solutions and support the breakdown of tasks into a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and developments to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technology. Goal Achievement: Ensure all daily, sprint, and release goals are met effectively. Risk and Compliance Management: Identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues, or other architectural concerns and provide actionable recommendations. Mentorship: Develop technical skills within product teams through mentoring, coaching, and peer reviews. Develop and maintain a 10 year roadmap Establish and meet 2 year strategic goals Ensure RHEL and Ansible solutions are successfully deployed and comply with DAF standards and policies Active Secret Security Clearance Bachelor's Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience. Minimum 10 years of Red Hat Operating System experience Minimum 5 years of experience configuring and managing host-based firewalls and system services Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and managing Red Hat Satellite 6.16 with integrated Capsule Servers (Smart Proxies) across distributed network segments Minimum 5 years of experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5 Application Minimum 2 years of experience managing LINUX disk and volume Minimum 2 years of experience generating and managing X.509 certificates and private keys for system services and integration with certificate authorities such as DoD NPE. Ability to collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery Proven experience working directly to oversee and contribute to the architecture and development in an enterprise environment Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
