Description

As a Residential Building Surveyor at NJS PROPERTY GROUP LTD, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition, identify defects, and provide expert advice to clients.
This role requires a professional with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) regulation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Property Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of residential properties, both internally and externally, to assess their overall condition, structural integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
2. Survey Reports: Prepare comprehensive and clear survey reports that outline your findings, including any defects, necessary repairs, and recommendations. Communicate these reports to clients in a concise and understandable manner.
3. Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and address any concerns they may have. Provide professional advice and guidance on property-related matters.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, ensuring all surveys and reports adhere to RICS guidelines. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
5. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and property-related legislation. Stay informed about advancements in building materials and technologies.
6. Project Management: Manage multiple surveys simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and clients receive timely and accurate information. Coordinate with other professionals, such as Solicitors and Estate Agent, when necessary.
7. Continuous Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and changes in regulations. Pursue additional qualifications or certifications as relevant.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £50,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
