What you'll bring to the team Ride Host Location: London Eye Hours: Minimum of 5 hours per week, with weekend work and availability to work over the Christmas period. This is a seasonal role until 4th January 2026. As one of the most iconic attractions in the UK, the London Eye offers guests a truly memorable experience. As a Ride Host you'll play a vital role in delivering this experience by ensuring every guest feels welcomed, safe, and well-informed. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment and are passionate about creating magical moments for visitors from around the world. Ensure safe boarding and disembarking of guests. Maintain high standards of customer service in all weather conditions. Engage with guests in a friendly and genuine manner. Manage queue lines with a consistently positive attitude. Promote London Eye products and encourage upselling of fast track/VIP and Cluster tickets. Maintain operational assets (e.g., ticket scanners, search mirrors, queue barriers). Highlight product benefits to drive sales. Participate in training and support onboarding of new team members. Communicate openly with colleagues and management. Identify and report training needs. Review and sign departmental risk assessments. Train new team members using COSWPs and shadowing. Report safety concerns and incidents appropriately. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a busy or outdoor environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to guest service. Basic understanding of health & safety procedures (training provided). Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
