The Role We are on the lookout for energetic, reliable and outgoing Ride Operators to join our Attractions Team on a casual basis. You will be front and centre in delivering safe and memorable experiences for our guests by operating rides and attractions in line with training, safety standards and park procedures. To set you up for success, we will provide full training including support to obtain your International Ride Operator Certification. As a Ride Operator, you will be: • Operating rides and attractions according to training and procedures • Ensuring safety at all times, and actively identifying any hazards • Delivering amazing guest service with a smile • Supporting your team in keeping things running smoothly and efficiently Who we are looking for You will need excellent communication, teamwork and people skills, a calm approach when things get busy and a genuine love of helping others. Flexibility is a must – shifts will include working across weekends, public holidays and school holidays, our peak periods of fun! Most importantly, you will bring a positive, can-do attitude every shift. ** This position requires a valid paid Queensland Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000. Under the ‘No Card, No Start’ requirements, successful candidates must hold this clearance before commencing employment. Please note: Due to Australian Standard AS3533, all Ride Operators must be at least 18 years of age.
