THE ROLE

I am seeking a proactive Rig Supervisor to oversee daily harvest operations in the field. You will lead a team of rig harvest operators, manage production targets, and ensure the safe and efficient movement of finished products. This is a hands on position requiring experience with tractors and harvest rigs.
In addition to meeting key production KPIs, you will play a vital role in upholding food safety, product quality, and making sure everything is in line with the customer requirements and company policy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise agency labour on the rig, ensuring effective communication, motivation, training, and achievement of performance goals
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, company policies, and relevant legislation
• Monitor and maintain product quality, addressing any non-conformances with the team
• Oversee all administrative tasks related to the rig harvest operation
• Manage the safe start-up, shutdown, and maintenance reporting of machinery
• Ensure the safe and efficient transport of produce from the field to onward haulage

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Hands on experience operating rig harvest machinery
• Experience driving tractors
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous experience supervising teams
• A full UK driving licenc
