Job Description
The Role:
AGJV HumeLink is looking for full-time employees: Intermediate Riggers and Advanced Riggers. You will be expected to assemble and install rigging gear, including ropes, cables, pulleys, and winches, to position structural steel and other heavy materials for the construction of transmission network infrastructure.
The Project:
AGJV HumeLink is a joint venture between Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd and Genus Infrastructure (NSW) Pty Ltd, engaged by Transgrid to deliver the HumeLink project. This involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of a new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.

Required Skills and Competencies

• High Risk Work Licence (Rigger Intermediate and/or Advanced)
• For Intermediate:
• Successfully completed UETDRT0016 - Installing Transmission Line Steel or equivalent, OR
• Can perform duties as installing Transmission Line Steel (assisting overhead transmission lines personnel)
• For Advanced:
• Successfully completed Certificate II - Transmission Line Construction UET20422, OR
• Can perform duties outlined above and any of the following:
• Operate brakes, winches, and associated rigging equipment to position steel units
• Assist overhead transmission lines personnel to string overhead transmission conductors
• Must meet minimum requirements to be enrolled with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers a High Risk Work Licence (NSW) specific to rigging and/or Certificate II Transmission Line Construction
• Demonstrated expertise in transmission line technologies, safety standards, and Australian work conditions
• Strong safety awareness

Camp Accommodation:

Workers will be engaged on a 21/7 roster and provided with camp accommodation. Camps are located in Yass and Adjungbilly. Facilities include:
