Perform routine maintenance on rigging equipment, inspecting for wear and tear, and making necessary repairs or replacements.
Safely secure loads for transport using appropriate methods and equipment, such as chains, binders, and straps.
Maintain detailed records of rigging operations, including load weights, rigging configurations, and safety checks.
Work closely with crane operators, construction crews, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Be prepared to respond to emergency situations and incidents, such as load shifts or equipment malfunctions, with a focus on safety and minimizing risks.
Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and construction management team, to achieve project goals and timelines.
Read and understand Drawings for Steel erection.
Read and Understand approved Lift Plans and assist in the development of Lift Plans.
Stay updated on industry best practices, new rigging technologies, and safety procedures to enhance skills and knowledge
