Description Job Summary: • Accurately, safely and efficiently handles all aspects of lifting and handling. Participates in all aspects of lifting and handling by performing duties listed below. Effectively able to train other team members. Requirements Education and Experience: • High school diploma required and two to four years of related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills and Abilities: • Five years lifting and handling experience in a manufacturing environment. • Two years of experience as an electric overhead bride crane operator in a manufacturing environment. • Must possess or have the ability to obtain NCCO or NCCER certification within 24 months of employment • Two years forklift operating experience. • Ability to read and comprehend load charts and rigging capacity charts. • Good problem-solving skills. • Strong Mathematical skills. • Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language. • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. • May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver. • Ability to read a tape measure (standard or metric) and convert them both ways • Reviews records retention schedules and governmental record keeping requirements to determine timetables for transferring active records to inactive or archival storage, for reducing paper records to electronic form, or for destroying obsolete or unnecessary records. • Audits records for completion, accuracy, signage, and dates. • Tracks missing records. • Manages record traceability (i.e. started, wip, completed, reviewed, and finalized) to track where records are being kept in process to completion. • Audits technical documentation for select customers. • Coordinates preparation and shipment of records packages to customers for at the end of select programs. • Provides comprehensive data packages to internal and external customers. • Performs Internal Quality Audits • Performs other related duties as assigned.
