A Rigging / Appointed person must be capable of leading Rigging services and campaign teams effectively within a safety driven environment.
Minimum Experience: 15-20 years post qualification experience
- Supervise daily rigging/lifting activities and ensure safe, efficient execution.
- Review and approve Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Critical Lift Studies, and subcontractor lifting plans.
- Monitor site operations, report on safety, progress, resources, and materials to Project Engineers/Managers.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and enforce safety regulations on site.
- Assess lifting operations, crane selection, equipment suitability, and supervise critical lifts.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams on scope, progress, and technical issues.
- Conduct training, refresher courses, audits, and toolbox talks to maintain safe practices.
- Inspect lifting gear, oversee maintenance, and ensure procedures are fit for purpose.
- Resolve site rigging issues, coordinate adjacent lifts, and mitigate hazards.
- Supervise rigging and transport crews, including loading/offloading of heavy machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have Rigging certification from a reputed Oil & Gas company / recognized authority.
· Sound knowledge of all Cranes and its load charts.
· Sound knowledge of multi axel heavy vehicle movements.
· Very good in job Planning and site meeting along with clients.
· Sound knowledge of Hand Rigging.
· Making lifting plans and reading all type of drawings.
· Safety conscious.· Capable of multi-tasking.
· Sound knowledge of tandem lifts & radio signals.
· Sound knowledge of load calculations and rigging tools
· Safety factor calculations.
