Are we the road to your future?   We are currently searching for an experienced Right of Way Agent to support our Midwest Region located in Dayton, OH.    To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, two years real estate and/or engineering experience.   The Right of Way (ROW) Agent acquires land, easements, and other rights for our DOT and municipal clients.   What you’ll be doing: * Responsible for claim settlement where client’s activities incur damage to property * Prepares document necessary to negotiate and option the proposed ROW * Is knowledgeable in title reports, appraisals, and basic ROW/roadway plans * You will meet with property owners to make offers, prepare and document paperwork and activities, and report to supervisor regularly * Relo agent will also be required to make relocation offers   What you need to have: * A minimum of one year real estate and/or engineering experience * At least one of the following ODOT prequalifications: Titles, appraisals, negotiation, closings, relocation  * Strong communications and social skills * Work from home is an option but will have access to the Volkert office and supplies * Experience with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer knowledge * Ability to travel to OH to meet with property owners * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
