To operate a rigid truck safely and efficiently for the purpose of transporting materials and equipment from the company depot and external suppliers to various construction sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery in accordance with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:

Collection & Delivery:

• Collect materials, equipment, or supplies from the company depot and deliver to assigned construction sites.
• Collect materials from suppliers and deliver to construction sites as instructed.

Vehicle Operation:

• Operate the rigid truck in compliance with road safety laws and company policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres, lights, etc.) and report any faults or issues.

Load Management:

• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required, following manual handling procedures.

Documentation:

• Ensure all delivery paperwork, delivery dockets, and collection notes are correctly completed and signed.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.

Communication:

• Maintain contact with the supervisor to receive updated delivery instructions or address site-specific requirements.
• Report any delays, incidents, or issues encountered on the road or at delivery sites.

You must have:
-Over 1 year of previous experience in similar role in Ireland
-Must be resident in Ireland
- C1 driver’s license (required)
-Up to date all CPC’s (required)
-Valid Digital Tachograph Card (required)
-Manual Handling
-Good level of English (required)
