We are currently looking for energetic, hard-working Ring Seal Operator to work permanent full-time on our Day shift (Monday to Friday 7:00h-15:00h EST) at our Alliston facility. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Ring Seal Operator is responsible for operating a ring sealer to seal recon parts into bags.

Perform one or more of the following duties on a rotating basis:

  • Clean, Set-up and Run a semi-automatic ring seal machine – parts loading/feeding, product inspection and packaging.
  • Clean, Set-up and Run a manual ring seal machine - Insert recon into port tube, insert bag into ring sealer, perform sealing process and pack bags.
  • Perform continuous visual inspections during all job tasks to ensure quality of product and that machines are functioning properly.
  • Perform QA inspections and complete documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to support release of product.
  • Maintain a supply of components.
  • Remove filled tote boxes from work station to cart and replace with new lined tote pan.
  • Perform minor mechanical adjustments as required.
  • Partner with maintenance when major repairs are required.
  • Operator will be cross trained to perform all necessary material handling duties and Q.A documentation/release of product using paper based and/or computer systems and as required.
  • Cross train on other critical equipment to support the Plastics Department Operations as required.

Duties performed on a continual or intermittent basis

  • Learn, understand and apply thorough quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
