REQUIREMENTS

Educated up to degree level or CTS
Previous practice experience (>5 years)
Significant understanding of controls and their application in the workplace (design, sufficiency, operating effectiveness, deficiencies and recommendations)
A sound knowledge and practical experience of IT General Controls (ITGC)
Ability to manage people as well as work independently
Significant experience of simultaneously driving multiple engagements to a successful outcome
Strong networking skills and ability to develop strong rapports with clients bringing in the wider firm
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
Ability to manage and develop staff i.e. coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting etc.
Proven record of working with senior management

Responsibilities:

Act as lead on a range of clients ranging from start ups to large listed clients. Overall responsibility for each assignment will be retained by the Partner.
Subject to the scale of the engagement the individual will be responsible for leading all aspects of the services delivered.
People management responsibilities covering resource planning and allocation and performance management. Act as a mentor to team members and provide coaching with a view to assisting them to achieve their personal career goals. Act as a role model for Seniors and new Grads.
Responsible for maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients.
Liaison with central departments on risk management, technical and other matters.
Support Partners in group sales and marketing activity, including playing a leading role in client pitch teams, attendance at group networking, and other marketing events as appropriate.
Contribute to development of new business relationships and business proposals through high level sales and marketing activity. This will include winning work by targeting new clients.
Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing clients, target clients and the internal business.
Participate in Key Account Management.
Develop specialist knowledge of a sector and/or technical area, and/or commercial area.
