At APA, our purpose is to secure Australia's energy future. We're not doing it alone. We're doing it with our customers and communities as Australia's energy infrastructure partner, a role our unique experience and expertise positions us to play.

Join our Legal, Governance & Regulatory team and play a key role in strengthening risk management through data, systems and reporting.

As the Group Risk Analyst, you will manage and enhance our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform, maintain risk data quality, and deliver reporting and insights that support effective decision-making across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to improve risk processes, reporting and system capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Manage and enhance the APA IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, including user support, system enhancement and troubleshooting across the business.

  • Ensure risk data is accurate, complete and reliable, while maintaining dashboards, reporting and risk data structures.

  • Deliver risk insights by analysing trends, emerging risks, opportunities and key metrics, including supporting the Head of Risk with risk reporting.

  • Assist with maintaining risk frameworks, policies and standards.

  • Support Risk Business Partners with risk reviews, workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and keeping risk information in GRC system current.

  • Contribute to risk communications, guidance materials and training resources.

  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, system enhancements and more efficient risk reporting processes.

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrated experience administering governance, risk, compliance (GRC) or related business systems.

  • Strong data analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools is desirable.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management or a related field
