Job Description As a Risk Analyst at Base44, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding our platform by owning and optimizing our payments fraud and dispute processes. You'll investigate and mitigate abuse across multiple surfaces, build and enhance risk tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a safe and secure ecosystem. In your day-to-day, you will: Own payments fraud and chargeback dispute operations end-to-end, including dispute response, root-cause analysis, recovery rates, and reducing dispute volume across platform subscriptions and marketplace transactions Investigate and disrupt abuse across all surfaces, from signups and logins to malicious web apps (phishing, scams) and LLM abuse Build and maintain internal risk tooling, supporting data pipelines, dashboards, and monitoring alongside investigation and enforcement tools Move from signal to action by identifying ambiguous abuse patterns, scoping the work, implementing fixes or detections, and completing the feedback loop independently Partner with legal, support, engineering, and Wix Risk teams on incidents, law enforcement requests, and policy changes, producing clear writeups for leadership Qualifications 4+ years of experience in trust & safety, fraud, or risk operations at a consumer or SMB platform, with hands-on experience in payments fraud and chargebacks Comfortable owning payments and chargebacks as your primary domain while addressing various fraud and abuse challenges Strong analytical skills to identify and measure abuse patterns, and the ability to fine-tune analytical outputs Builder mindset with experience using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Base44, or similar AI development tools to create internal tooling, scripts, or automations Ability to manage domains independently, prioritize tasks, and operate without day-to-day management Working knowledge of online abuse vectors, including phishing, account takeover, bot signups, marketplace fraud, and AI/LLM-specific abuse Strong written communication skills for incident writeups, dispute narratives, and policy proposals Additional Information We're Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to redefine how software is built.
