IN SUMMARY, THE RISK ANALYST WILL:

• Have for responsibility for identifying, assessing and mitigating potential risks associated with business decisions, projects and operations.
• Analyze risk conditions associated with both ongoing business and associated with new business opportunities and initiatives.

THE “MUST-HAVE” SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ARE:

• Demonstrated experience using critical thinking skills to conduct financial and numerical analysis.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, modeling techniques, financial management and financial risk concepts.
• Strong aptitude to learn new software and computer platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to support multitasking while effectively prioritizing.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with the team.
• An undergraduate degree in Economics, Math or Statistics or an MBA.
• A minimum of three (3) years of related experience gained through work or experiential learning.

THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ARE CONSIDERED AN ASSET:

• Experience working with Power BI
• Experience working in financial services
• A CPA/CA, CRM or CFA designation in progress or in good standing.
