RISK ANALYST X2

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Risk Analyst for a 15-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

RISK ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves shaping Data Quality Control Testing for Risk and Compliance and supporting the improvement of managing Critical Data. The role focuses on implementing new Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) data management procedures within the Risk Organization.

RISK ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Experience in writing test scripts, designing and executing control testing
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technology and business teams
• Proven ability to manage timelines and escalate issues promptly
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and principles
• Undergraduate degree/technical certificate or four (4) or more years relevant experience
• Ability to operate in an Agile / Waterfall environment with tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills

RISK ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Certification in risk management
• Familiarity with Alteryx or similar technology tools
• Experience in designing and building control testing frameworks
• Knowledge of data controls and risk management practices
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel

• Independently execute testing of Data Controls
• Develop testing documentation and results reporting in line with requirements
• Understand and apply Enterprise Data Management procedures and requirements
• Evaluate controls effectiveness and develop recommendations for enhancement
• Work independently as a subject matter expert of supported assets
• Execute complex and/or non-standard requests
• Perform complex analysis and reporting
