Job Description
The Risk & Compliance Analyst supports the Head of Risk & Compliance and the Senior Risk & Compliance Consultants to effectively manage the enterprise and operational risk management and corporate compliance and assurance functions at AFCA.

The responsibilities will include :

  • Monitor CAMMS Administration: Ensure the AFCA Risk & Compliance system functions correctly, including managing access rights, notifications, training, report development, user guides, and system integrity checks.
  • PowerBI Reporting: Enhance risk and compliance reporting through PowerBI.
  • Compliance Support: Assist in compliance activities, including working group tasks, mapping obligations in CAMMS, and following up on overdue reviews.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Update the AFCA policy register and internal audit tracker by engaging with stakeholders.
  • Governance and Compliance: Oversee the corporate policy framework’s governance and compliance requirements.
  • Internal Audit Plan: Coordinate meetings and facilitate information exchange for the internal audit plan.
  • Risk Workshops and Controls Testing: Participate in risk workshops, facilitate controls testing, and update the CAMMS risk register.
  • Conflict of Interest Management: Engage staff and managers, review conflicts, and maintain the Conflict of Interest register.
  • Reporting: Support the reporting of risk and compliance matters to the Board and Executive Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to complete tasks within given timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in dealing with all levels, including EGMs.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data, provide insights, and basic MS Office knowledge.
  • Experience: Project management, audit, or risk management experience.
  • Risk Management Systems: Experience with these systems is desirable.
  • Education: Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in risk management, compliance, or assurance is desirable.
