Risk Profile Analysis: Analyze NFRA, Controls, and other Non-Financial Risk data to produce comprehensive risk profile analyses. These analyses should be used for quality assurance, senior management, and governance forums. Policy and Procedure Development: Support the development and enhancement of NFRA and Control Governance policies and procedures. Work with relevant Second Line Coverage teams and other NFR Framework teams to provide input and ensure alignment. Independent Quality Assurance Reviews: Define and facilitate these reviews by collaborating with Second Line Coverage teams across Operational Risk, Financial Crimes, and Compliance. Ensure that any issues identified are reported, escalated, and resolved promptly with the business. Collaboration Across Work Streams: Collaborate with other work streams within the Non-Financial Risk Framework, such as Issues and Actions, Scenario Analysis, Key Controls, and other NFR Teams like Data & Analytics, Monitoring and Oversight, and Technology. This collaboration is crucial for the successful delivery of the NFRA and Control Governance Programs. Experience: At least six years of relevant experience in financial services, with consideration given to those with Big 4 or risk consulting backgrounds. This experience should include familiarity with core banking, investment, and trading products, as well as an understanding of regulations and typologies. Risk and Control Skills: Strong skills in risk, process, and control assessment and validation are essential. The candidate should have a robust technical understanding of the financial services regulatory environment, particularly in compliance risk. Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and risk management skills are required. The candidate should also have strong computing skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis. Data Handling: Experience working with large data sets is important, including the ability to deconstruct data sets and understand their associated queries. Knowledge of general IT controls and business analyst experience is also beneficial. Education: An undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S., or equivalent) is required.
