Business Banking (BB) offers a complete range of transaction, lending, and trading solutions, along with tailored offerings for over 1 million Commonwealth Bank’s small-medium enterprise customers, mid-market corporate customers, and regional and agribusiness customers. It also services our personal and institutional online trading customers via CommSec.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
  • Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business.
  • Support teams developing technology and AI enabled solutions, to identify and manage the risks associated with the new solutions.
  • Partner with the business to manage risks, compliance obligations and operations within risk appetite, including ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and updated when risk trigger events occur.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes. This includes proactively identify opportunities to enhance the design and resiliency of business processes and controls through continuous improvements.
  • Responsible for data quality in/maintain various databases (including RiskInSite) and monthly management reporting.
  • Complete risk assessments on any change initiatives or projects impacting Business Banking processes and provide risk mitigation strategies, such as effective design and implementation of Controls.
  • Implementation and adherence to the Operational and Compliance Risk Management Frameworks. Provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on the operation of the Group’s Operational Risk Framework.
