See yourself in our team: The Business Banking Customer, Channels and Data (CCD) strategic business unit is made up of four teams: Business Banking Services (BBS) Business Banking Channels (Channels), and Business Banking Analytics, Data and Decision Science (BB ADDS) Strategy and Transformation The CCD teams support all BB segments and product houses and play a key role in enabling the success of customers, creating a better day for our people and the achievement of our NPS +30 ambition. The BB Agentic Transformation Crew is responsible for designing and implementing go to market propositions using Agentic AI approaches which would plug into branch, digital, call centre and RM managed capabilities. This forms the future of AI driven distribution for the Business Bank and sits with the CCD Domain. Do work that matters: As a manager within within the Line 1 Risk team supporting BB Agentic Transformation you will be the first point of contact for operational risk and compliance (OR&C) matters providing advice and guidance on the management and reduction of non-financial risks. On any given day you will: Provide pragmatic risk advice to the BB Agentic Transformation team in control design and evaluation, ensuring a safe, sound and efficient operational environment Support with the completion of risk and compliance assessments, ensuring risk and obligation summaries are capture in the Risk Profile and updated as trigger events occur Support with the identification, escalation and reporting of operational risk and compliance matters to the BB Agentic Transformation leadership team and other relevant stakeholders Support the BB Agentic Transformation deliver work agile under Change Management Risk Standard (CMRS) which allows us to manage risk in the flow of change. Conduct change impact assessments for changes led by BB Agentic Transformation and assess impact of other Group changes on CCD more broadly. Conduct and manage Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test plans and reporting on findings Manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements, maintaining quality documentation throughout Proactively upskill yourself on new and emerging risks, particularly relating to BB’s data, analytics capability and AI strategy, changes to risk and compliance frameworks and Group policies Contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration with your business partners and help with uplifting risk capability by running knowledge sharing sessions Capture and maintain data quality of risk and compliance items captured in the Group risk management tool (e.g. RiskInSite). Your experience looks like: Experience in Operational Risk and Compliance management, ideally gained within the Financial Services sector. Experience in tech, and model risk highly desirable Proven business acumen and ability to apply operational risk and compliance frameworks, standards, policies and procedures in a pragmatic way Demonstrated experience applying agentic AI in risk, compliance, or fraud contexts. A curious and humble mindset, understanding of external trends and changes, interest in continuous learning, to build risk management best practice the ability to think critically and use data driven insights to solve problems, coupled with good reporting and analytical skills High quality written and verbal communication skills, report writing, evidence gathering and data capabilities Stakeholder and influencing skills with the ability to engage as a value-add business partner, demonstrating a curious and humble mindset, understanding of external trends and changes.
