QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires a university degree in a related field (Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an analytical field. An acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Our successful candidate will have experience using standard research and reporting tools, methodologies and processes. You will also have experience with policy, research evaluation frameworks and statistical methodologies. The ability to clarify problems and issues is necessary in this role, as well as analytical, research and evaluation skills.
The Risk and Intelligence Analyst is responsible for completing briefing notes, report submissions and presentations to senior management. As such, communication and presentation experience are required.

The following knowledge, experience and training is considered an asset:

  • Work experience with law enforcement and justice agencies, or a related law enforcement analytical field; and/or
  • Formal threat or risk assessment training.
