The team
The Operational Risk Team at SFRS plays a critical role in gathering, assessing, and collating detailed risk information on premises and sites across Suffolk. This essential information ensures that our operational crews are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary details to carry out their duties safely and efficiently. By identifying potential hazards and risks within the local area, the team contributes to effective decision-making during emergency response situations.
Our team culture is built on collaboration, communication, and trust. We thrive on working closely together, bringing our collective knowledge and expertise to ensure that all aspects of risk information are captured and processed effectively.
Our teams operate in various locations across the county. This role is aligned with the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the North district, although there may be occasions where you are required to work at other locations across the county.
Empowering Everyone
We’re big believers in potential, possibility and the power of different ideas. We’re always searching for ways to encourage, respect and enable everyone to be the best they can be. We want to represent the diverse communities we serve. We welcome applications from all individuals, especially those from groups that are currently underrepresented in the organisation, as shown in our Workforce Equality Report
