Reporting to the Safety & Training Manager, you will lead the governance, management and continuous improvement of the site's risk framework, operational systems and assurance processes. As a trusted first-line verification and coaching leader, you'll drive compliance, strengthen risk management practices and empower teams to achieve operational outcomes. Roster: This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW working an 8/6-day FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded. Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is constructing the Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane. CSA, one of Australia's longest operating copper mines, has a history dating back almost 150 years.  The mine is 1.9km deep and has a reserve grade of 3.4% Cu.  Located near the vibrant regional town of Cobar, CSA Mine is a long‑standing underground copper operation with a strong connection to its local community.
