To support this transformation, we’re looking for two exceptional Senior Risk & Compliance Leads to join our First Line Risk & Compliance Team. Your new role You’ll be part of a supportive team that values diverse perspectives and works together to deliver meaningful outcomes. The role sits within the NZPAC Risk & Compliance Team and works cross-functionally with other Senior Leads. You’ll be assigned to specific Business Units, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic risk partner to General Managers and their teams. You’ll lead the implementation of our Group Risk Management Framework within your assigned portfolios, providing first line oversight, expert guidance, and proactive support to uplift risk, compliance and governance maturity and foster a strong risk culture. You’ll contribute to strategic outcomes by: Partnering with Business Unit leaders to embed risk-informed thinking into strategy, initiatives, and projects. Lead the development and continuous improvement of Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Provide expert advice on risk, compliance, and governance matters. Monitor and report on key risk indicators, appetite, and emerging issues. Support regulatory compliance and policy implementation. Collaborate with other Senior Leads to ensure consistency across NZPAC. Build capability and uplift risk culture through training and engagement. Please note that for the successful candidate, this process will include a phone screen with our Talent Acquisition team, 2 interviews (either face to face or online via Teams), and background checks. About you You will have expertise and experience in a variety of business areas, ideally with multi-jurisdictional experience across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, sound judgement, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll ideally have: Experience in risk management, compliance, governance, or regulatory advisory roles. Preferred domain experience in legal, accounting, insurance, or financial services. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret risk data to support decision-making. A relationship-focused approach and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Fluency in English and French would also be advantageous to support portfolios in New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
