Responsibilities

ROLE:

To support the Credit Union’s compliance management and risk program. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies. The role would involve assisting management with compliance risks and helping to implement corrective actions to ensure the credit union remains compliant with all federal and state regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help maintain accurate records of all compliance activities, including marketing campaigns, compliance and audit assessments, exams, and any corrective actions.
Monitor and track any exceptions, make recommendations for correction or medication to reduce exceptions. Provide needed reports to Executive Team and VP of Quality Control for Board Reporting.
Collaborate with other team members on projects which may include but are not limited to: Quality Control review processes, new products and services, changes in products and services and/or assistance with the development of new reports.
Work with Compliance Partner and Risk Team to support the internal Compliance Management System. (CMS) Develop, implement, and help maintain the compliance program to ensure adherence to Credit Union standards.
Participate in staff education and training to increase awareness of compliance regulations and stay abreast of any changes or updates to regulations. This includes conducting research and analysis to stay up to date with changing regulations and laws. Participate on Compliance Committee.
E 10% Support the completion of risk assessments, as required, and implement and/or make
recommendations to management.
Monitor and support any non-compliance issues such as projects. This would include timely completion of tasks and project milestones.
Work with Credit Union management as part of the Risk team supporting all areas of the Credit Union including Performing other duties other duties as assigned.
Participates in all required Credit Union training and utilizes skills learned.
