Risk Control Director (Client Risk Focused) About the opportunity A fast-growing retail trading platform is building out its client risk function from the ground up. As the Risk Control Director, you own the full ownership — you will architect the risk framework, build the team, and own outcomes end-to-end. What you'll own - End-to-end client risk framework across onboarding, trading, funding, and withdrawal - Abnormal trading detection: latency arbitrage, bonus abuse, wash trading, multi-account fraud - IB and agent channel risk — onboarding standards, monitoring, and tiered enforcement - Deposit and withdrawal fund flow risk controls in collaboration with finance and AML teams - Risk rules engine and data monitoring model — building from manual to systematic - Client risk team: hiring, structure, SOPs, escalation, and reporting to senior leadership- - Key Candidate Profile What you bring - >5 years in financial services risk, with at least 3 years in client risk at a retail FX, CFD, or derivatives platform - Hands-on MT4 / MT5 experience in a risk function - Proven track record in detecting and resolving abusive trading behaviours and IB channel risk - Experience building or significantly upgrading risk rules engines or monitoring systems - Mandarin fluency — essential, as the platform and client base operate in Chinese - Team management experience at manager or director level If you are a strategic risk leader with deep experience in client risk management for Forex/CFD platforms, we invite you to apply for this critical role.
