Role Purpose This position will contribute to support Legal & Governance Manager in terms of risk management plan which includes but not limited to identifying, registering, monitoring, and reporting the risk mitigation across the organisation. He/she will also provide support in communicating the policies on risks internally and externally as the main focal point on risk to maintain the organisation’s integrity through well proper and well-managed risks. As the lead of Risk Committee, he/she is expected to coordinate risk management in program development and operations with a focus on preventing risk and finding long-term solutions through clarity of accountability in risk management to ensure no confusion in risk management and monitoring. This position is also expected to actively be involved in building the culture of trust and collaboration at SC IDN. What You will do: Risk Management Ensure the implementation of Save the Children Risk Framework (SCARF) in the organization according to the agreed policies and procedures. Perform coordinating effort in integrating the risk management across the organisation. Propose revision, changes, if necessary, according to the existing policies and procedure. Review and communicating Save the Children Indonesia’s Risk Appetite Statement and revise any material amendment to be approved by the Board of Patrons. Perform/presenting report and analysis on risk management requested by Senior Management Team (SMT) that is according to general direction of the organization. Report to the Unit Manager and take appropriate action when necessary. Risk Committee To lead the Risk Committee to help increase Staff understanding and awareness of risk management and processes and how to escalate to the SMT to ensure that risk management in every level is embedded in all existing policies and procedure in the organization. Help develop and maintain effective administrative systems for better risk management in the organization governance. Professional Executive and Administrative Services Perform review, assessment, analysis, and advice on risks and/or key risks indicators when needed according to general direction of the organisation. Participate in related meetings when required (including to attend meeting with Donors, Partners, Government, etc.), providing insights on risks in accordance with the organization's general direction. Provide administrative, produce, and send general correspondence on behalf of Unit Manager. Other duties as required and assigned by the Unit Manager that are still within the general scope of this role. What We need from You: Essential Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a risks management or similar role, with hands-on involvement in risk management activities such as creating risk register, risk assessment/scoring, risk matrix, risk reporting, risk appetite statement, and risk-based compliance. Solid understanding of risk management and assessment standard like ISO 31000 and ISO 31010. Proven experience in communicating and collaborating with English-speaking counterparts. Well-versed in general risk management procedures and risk reporting requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Strong team player with the ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and hold senior team members accountable for deliverables. Adaptable, flexible, and capable of managing workload in a dynamic environment. Customer-focused, with a supportive and solution-oriented approach. Able to remain composed and maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Strong alignment with Save the Children’s mission, vision, and values. Desirable Experience working in Nonprofits/NGO sector and/or with international partners or stakeholders. Practical knowledge of risk management and communicating it to relevant stakeholders. Ability to advising decision makers from the perspective of risks.
