Provide management and oversight of all aspects of the company’s Integrity Management Program (IMP) risk related activities and personnel including but not limited to the management of the General Risk Team Responsibilities and the Job Requirements listed below.

• Support development, maintenance, and execution of the company Pipeline and Facility IMP, including:
• Monitor and track change of status for integrity assets.
• Maintain Continual Assessment Plan (CAP).
• Facilitate Preventive and Mitigative Measure analyses (P&MM) including identification and tracking of P&MMs to protect HCAs based on risk.
• Facilitate Leak Detection Analysis (LDA), Emergency Flow Restriction Device analysis (EFRD), and Facility Risk Assessments (FRA).
• Identification and implementation of methods to measure IMP effectiveness.
• Development and implementation of metrics to track and improve integrity assessment effectiveness.
• Record keeping of integrity related documents.
• Management of Risk Algorithm, including:
• Identification of threats to each HCA including data integration and risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain risk model.
• Ensure quality risk results and completeness.
• Identify possible data gaps and lead data collection efforts related to risk model.
• Revise or create specification documentation necessary to improve risk models.
• Lead risk algorithm team reviews and implement approved changes.
• Effectively interpret and communicate risk results to multiple teams for support in data driven decisions.
• Work collaboratively with related departments to manage and develop general data collection and data integration procedures and best practices.
• Provide technical recommendations, support, and guidance for any complex integrity issues, including:
• Support integrity related state and federal audits.
• Participate in Emergency Response Line conference calls as needed and report pertinent information to management.
• Interact with various company departments including but not limited to in-line inspection (ILI), Engineering Records, Project Management, and field personnel to secure and provide data as necessary.
• Provide training and general technical support for all stakeholders including Operations, Field Integrity Services, and ILI personnel.
• Provide support for other aspects of corrosion and integrity related programs, processes, and procedures as required.
• Identify and present potential process improvements and follow-through with implementation once stakeholder / management agreement for the improvement is obtained.
• Review, edit, and provide feedback regarding any proposed procedure or process variance requests.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. in Engineering, Science, or related degree and 5 to 7 years minimum industry experience depending on degree. Applicable industry experience and education may be considered as an equivalent.

• Establish and communicate clear roles and responsibilities, develop “SMART” goals, identify milestones, monitor and track progress and performance and provide clear, accurate, timely, and relevant feedback to employees throughout the year including during the annual performance review process.
• Establish, monitor, and regularly communicate key performance metrics to all stakeholders reflecting overall group performance including effectiveness and efficiency related to implementation of all established standards, processes, procedures, goals, objectives, and the group mission.
• Provide clear, concise, timely, and effective written and verbal communication to all internal and external customers with the discernment to consider the respective roles, knowledge, and interests of each party.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with logical thought processes including the ability to develop technically sound, practical, and cost-effective solutions that consider implications from multiple perspectives of various stakeholders.
• Provide support as needed to help the Pipeline Integrity Group and the company reach its mission and objectives.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position including those listed above.
• Strong focus on safe work practices and active participation in the safety program.
• Initiative and adaptability to manage multiple work tasks.
• Strong computer skills including but not limited to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Demonstrated ability to perform the job requirements listed above.
• A minimum of five (5) years direct work experience in Risk Engineering, Pipeline Integrity, or DOT Compliance.
• 3 to 5 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of general pipeline operations standards, practices and procedures.
• Elevated knowledge of PHMSA Pipeline Safety Regulations (Title 49 CFR Part 195).
• Elevated knowledge of API RP 1160
• Significant experience participating in regulatory audits and responding to their associated findings is preferred.
• Strong background in Risk Algorithm development is preferred.
