The Risk Finance & Casualty Department is looking for an exceptional student to join their team as a summer intern. The Internship will begin in May 18, 2026 and will end on August 7, 2026. This is an onsite internship located in San Antonio, TX. The summer internship in the Risk Finance & Casualty Department will have exposure to multiple projects and task as listed below. Major Accountabilities: Risk Compliance • Assists with policy and contract reviews • Assists with policy input for system project • Assists, prepares and provides support for monthly ROCIP reporting Claims • Reviews daily reports identifying potential property recovery matters • Assists, prepares and provides support for the closing of files for storage • Assists, prepares and provides reports for system project Risk Finance • Assists on website updates • Assists with gathering information and data input for system project • Assists monthly accounting entries This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in Finance & Risk Management or related major required. • Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred. • Graduation dates of August 2026 through May 2028 required. • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship (May 18 - August 7) required. • Able and willing to work on-site and in-person at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio, required.
