Description The Risk Management Associate (RMA) will be a team subject matter expert on life insurance servicing and life insurance products. Secondarily, the RMA will assist with risk management product licensing and contracting. The RMA will switch back and forth between the two responsibilities so must be able to multi-task efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Life insurance liaison with Operations: The RMA will be the primary contact for the Operations team on anything related to life insurance. The RMA will need to be able to answer questions related to life insurance products, illustrations, applications and servicing needs The RMA may on occasion be required to help complete forms and applications by working with the advisor or client. Life insurance sales support: The RMA must be able to run new business and inforce illustrations and/or effectively request illustrations from FI’s upline BGA or the insurance carrier. The RMA should establish working relationships with internal wholesalers from FI’s primary insurance carriers. Licensing and contracting: The RMA will act as the secondary licensing and contracting expert and will assist with licensing and contracting when the primary expert is out of office or when volume reaches levels where a second person is needed. Requirements Bachelor's or other college degree, certification, or equivalent 3 years experience in the financial services industry 2 years experience in life insurance customer service Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities. Problem solving skills. Self-starter and proven ability to work remote. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple relationships and tasks at any one time. Knowledge of insurance carrier illustration systems Knowledge of SureLC Physical Requirements Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in an office environment Working on a computer for extended periods of time Lifting up to 15 pounds
Responsibilities
