QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an office setting, preferably in healthcare, legal, claims, or insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Director of Risk Management, the Risk Management Coordinator plays a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks. This position provides vital administrative and analytical support to ensure that policies, procedures, training, and systems are effectively implemented to protect our patients, employees, and organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare correspondence, reports, and claims summaries.
• Assist with insurance applications and claims processing.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date claim files and databases.
• Support risk assessments and identify regulatory/non-regulatory risks.
• Analyze data and trends to recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate incident reporting and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding vehicle claims and reimbursements.
• Review accident videos and provide observations to the Risk Manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
